introducing veritas 800A marine 30

Chevron Marine Lubricants is pleased to introduce Veritas 800A Marine 30, a new crankcase lubricant designed for two-stroke marine engines. Veritas 800A Marine 30 is blended with highly refined base oils and advanced additive chemistry, designed to provide enhanced engine cleanliness, wear protection, anti-corrosion, and anti-foam properties. It is formulated with the appropriate level of alkalinity to neutralize acidic combustion products that may enter the crankcase.

Veritas 800A Marine 30 will be available globally from April 2025, ensuring improved supply reliability. The current product, Veritas 800 Marine 30, will be discontinued once the transition is complete in all supply locations worldwide. 

Veritas 800A Marine 30 is recommended for the crankcase lubrication of large modern low-speed marine diesel engines operating with all fuel types and under all loads and operating conditions, and is suitable for older design engines with water cooled piston operating with all fuel types. It is also recommended for stern tube lube application by major OEM’s.

Veritas 800 Marine 30 should be used in accordance with OEM guidelines and recommendations.

   Helps to protect bearings and white metals in the engine lubrication systems against corrosive wear from acidic combustion by-products.
