Chevron Marine Lubricants places the highest priority on the health and safety of our workforce and protection of the communities and environments in which we operate. That's why, in 2014, we were the first lubricants supplier to be conferred preferred supplier status under the IMPA ACT Sustainable Suppliers scheme.
The International Marine Purchasing Association's IMPA ACT is an industry wide initiative bringing together ship purchasers and suppliers dedicated to quality and responsibility. Through repsonsible supply chain management and the implementation of the IMPA Act Supplier Code of Conduct, IMPA ACT seeks to improve economic, social and envionmental sustainability of the international shipping marine industries. Protecting people and the environment
We believe in human energy, and that by putting people at the centre everything we do and empowering our workforce we deliver results the right way for our partners, customers, suppliers and the environment.
"Chevron have demonstrated their sustainability credentials by becoming one of the first suppliers to gain preferred supplier status in the IMPA ACT programme" says IMPA ACT COO Stephen Alexander, "this fantastic achievement positions them as an industry leader as this is the programme that represents international best practice, aligned to the UN guiding principles and global compact.”
Recognition by the IMPA Act scheme demonstrates that our core beliefs and values are important to create a sustainable future, capable of meeting the challenges of today's marine industury.
